About us

This site presents the lacquered interior doors made by Palmiye Wood Decoration in Istanbul. Lacquer is our answer when a project asks for calm, uniform surfaces: a door that reads as part of the wall, or a door in a strong colour that becomes a design element of its own.

A good lacquered door depends on what lies beneath the paint. We build leaves on stable MDF or timber cores, seal every edge and apply the finish in several coats with sanding between them, so the surface stays even across the whole door. Sheen is a choice too: deep matte for a soft look that hides fingerprints, satin for everyday practicality, or gloss where light needs to travel along a corridor.

Colour matching is part of the service. We can follow a paint reference from the architect, match the skirting and wardrobe fronts in the same room, or prepare small finish samples for approval. Designs include flush and grooved leaves, glazed panels and doors with concealed frames that sit flush with the wall.

Every project begins with measuring the openings on site. After the door list and finishes are confirmed, production takes place in our workshop and our installers fit frames, leaves and hardware in place. We supply residences, offices and hotels, and we pack doors carefully for projects outside Turkey. Share your plans and preferred colours, and we will propose a door system for your interior.
